Cosy Urban Retreat in the Heart

Loved it, thank you for having us. Positive: It was so cute and homey ! Negative: I found it hard to find to be honest but we did arrive late and in the dark 😂 but once you knew where you were going it was great !

Filthy and unsafe! Positive: They are starting to refurbish. Plenty of storage in bedroom New washer/dryer Negative: The apartment was filthy on arrival, unsafe, and not accurately represented in the listing. The property was not “in the heart of” the area as described, nor was it “cosy.” The location does not match the map shown in the listing. On arrival, the apartment was in such poor condition that we spent over two hours cleaning—dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and washing pillowcases—before we could even unpack. The apartment does not have air conditioning and was extremely hot, making it uncomfortable to stay in. While the property manager acknowledged the unit was not up to their usual standard, several areas appeared not to have been cleaned for a long time, which was frankly disgusting. Safety was a major concern. The balcony door did not lock, and given the noisy neighbourhood—with people yelling throughout the stay—we felt unsafe. Additional issues included: Kettle was green inside and unusable Couch was dirty and heavily stained Pillowcases and protectors were dirty and stained (we had to wash before use) Toilet had not been properly cleaned; toothbrush holder was covered in toothpaste Screens and doors were extremely dusty; sliding door tracks had not been cleaned in a long time Beds were uncomfortable .Coffee provided was a hard lump and off. Balcony was poorly maintained, with dirt spread through the fake grass and a broken chair The swimming pool area is uninviting. Parking was extremely tight and only suitable for small vehicles — even the taxi required a four-point turn to exit There are simply too many issues to list in full. Overall, this apartment is not in a fit state to be rented out, and the cleanliness, safety concerns, and misrepresentation significantly impacted our stay. Absolutely disgusted Positive: The location Negative: It was disgusting no aircon as advertised, 2 flights of stairs not disclosed, filthy state, mouldy dishwasher, mouldy cooking pans, foam ceiling panels missing, mouldy ceiling in bathroom, lizard in bedroom, and door lock broken into balcony which has easy access from the stair well unable to secure the property.
